Deep waters run by the shore. Mystery hidden beneath its cold. One can dive in the still waters to find pots of gold.
In the deep woods the soul can be lost, paths can be forgotten and the deepest fears of mind can be encountered. In the depths of darkness mind becomes weak and body loses control.
Depth can be darkness, can be fear, can be beastly. But depth can also be stillness and calmness. With the warm glow of courage in this stillness one can find peace and wisdom. I wonder that’s why saints used to meditate in dark woods or calm mountains as this helped them to attain enlightenment.
