My pens lasted longer

I’m participating in the Friday Fictioneers for the first time. I hope to receive an honest feedback. I’m thankful to Rochelle for hosting such an event for all the writers.

I’ve been standing here to look at the bench under the tree and I still see it’s empty. The last time I had seen her, she was playing with a piece of wood in her hands.

Her mum looked twice her age. The number of pens in my pen stand seemed less compared to the number of children in her family.

“So, she is not the last one.”

“No. One still on the way.”

“What will you do? I mean how would you manage?”

“Oh! No worries. She will be married by next autumn.”

“But she is too young. Don’t you think?”

“Young…we are poor. That’s all I know.”

Thanks for nominating me for – The Liebster Award

liebster award

Liebster Award

Blogging communities are simply great and what I like about them is the support that they have to offer to the new and the ones still mastering the skills. Receiving awards makes one feel appreciated for his/her work.

I have gladly accepted “The Liebster Award” from Arundhathi. Thanks for nominating me, Arundhathi. Although, I don’t know her in person but her photo…with a cute smile, would make anyone want to know more about her. You could know her more by visiting her blog at https://justinmywritemind.wordpress.com. She has a positive outlook towards life. If you are interested in packing your bags and exploring a new place then you ought to visit her blog. Apart from blog posts about life she loves to share her travel experiences with her blogger friends.

Receiving awards is just one part of the story. The other part is being able to share them with the others. Of course, the process could sometimes be time consuming – but sharing is fun. Before nominating the award I would like to share the rules for this award.

  1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
  2. Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
  3. Copy & Paste the award to your blog.
  4. Nominate 5 blogs to receive the award who have less than 3000 followers.
  5. Inform them of their nomination by leaving comment on their blog.

Nomination is sharing for me and I would gladly like to pass it to these bloggers.

Receiving an award gives a boost to the skills that we are learning or enjoy doing. I hope that you would kindly accept the award. On the other hand it could be a time consuming process for some so if you decide not to participate – it would be totally understandable. Either ways congratulations for being nominated.
