In the city, among the street lights of the busy streets, noise cannot be stopped. It becomes a part of you.
At home, the noise that had filled you outside slowly turns itself into silent walls. It takes you in its embrace as you fall your way to sleep. And then the noise stops… pauses for a while, until the next day begins again.
Norma, beautifully written! ππΊ Poetically penned and I like the way it embraces you as you fall asleep! As a country girl I had a shock when I lived in Leipzig for a while … the noise was deafening to start with and then became part of me. So much so that I missed it once home in the quiet …. until that became my new normal! Happy Weekend! ππΊ

Oh, that must have been terrible. But I can understand how you might have felt. I do a lot of meditation and stuff. In the beginning I wanted everything to be quite and after that I started meditating on the noise itself. π I’ve found out that it’s best to meditate in the early mornings or at nights because things are quiter at that time.
Thanks for those lovely words, Annika.
I love that flower emoji, Annika. If I may ask from where or how to get it?
Wishing you too a great weekend with your loved ones. π
