Yellows

Yellow to me is a magical colour – the dust sparkles of a fairy. Forget fairytales in a gloomy weather a bright yellow colour of traffic light or t-shirt or mug is enough to cheer me up. Any flower has the power to bring smile to our faces but not like a yellow sunflower. Yellow to me stands for happiness, energy, positivity, warmth, sun, halo, enlightenment and gold (how can I miss that). I always carry a yellow smiley ball in my bag. Firstly it reduces stress if I have any during the day and secondly I just like to take it out and smile at it.

A bunch of yellows to enjoy.

Let it shine forever

“Come, with me,” says a voice and I float after it.

Lost. My identity lost. My body lost but I know I’m still there in some form of existence.

I’m swimming through a void of memories and dark and bright pathways. I face darkness first and then the bright white light of eternity engulfs me.

All of a sudden – a last memory – a distorted smile trying to pull me back. I try to wipe this memory clean and see… a man. A Face…young, hair… black, eyes…sparkling. It looked familiar. A view from distance helps me to see another face…a woman, young, black curly hair, eyes light brown. She was smiling and had something in her hand.

“Who is this?” The existence asked the voice.

The voice, “Don’t you remember. It’s you.”

“Which one – the man or the woman,” asked the confused existence?

The voice said, “The woman… of course. Now let’s hurry, we are getting late and the portal will close soon.”

Ok.

The existence started following the voice without any choice.

“Wait! Wait.” She shouted and said, “I remembered that moment. Keith…I think. Yes! That was his name. He had proposed to me. My ring. I can now see in that moment much clearly.”

Good! Now let’s go.

Wait, why is everything getting grey? Why is it so bright, now? I can’t see anything from that moment. Please! Please, make it stop.

“I’m sorry I can’t”, said the voice with some softness in it. He continued, “However, if you want I can let only one thing remain for eternity in your memory – in the same form as it was real. Fast. Time is running out of your hands and mine as well.”

golden ring

Fine! Don’t shout. I choose my hair…no, wait I choose him…no, no. I choose my brown eyes…no.

Fast kid!

Wait…wait, wait. I choose…that ring…the golden ring. With his name inscribed and our promise of love. I ask you to let the golden ring never be black or grey or white. Never be lost in time and space.Let its golden glow be forever. Let it shine like a sun… forever.

The power of failure

The power of failure.

Failure teaches me to try, whenever I don’t succeed.

Failure teaches me to strive harder the next time.

Failure gives me a chance to fall down, maybe on my knees.

Failure gives me the strength to rise up with all my vigour and zeal.

Failure demands me never to give up.

Failure paves my path of life.

Failure decides my destiny.

Failure gives me the power of determination.

Failure makes me successful not once, but as many times as I fail.

Failure makes me an experienced person.

Failure is a great teacher to make me learn from different situations.

Failure pushes me to the wall, and helps me to come back with a grand entrance to life.

Failure is the reality of life.

Failure churns the level of my perseverance.

Failure challenges my will power.

Failure brings opportunity for me develop new skills.

Failure helps me to explore a new me.

Failure strengthens my character.

Failure is my golden armour to success.

Failure demands continued axing on that golden armour.

Failure is not easily breakable.

Failure is the only formula to success.

Sometimes I think what if I don’t fail; how great would that be?

I would have lived a life without any experiences,

I would be a successful person without any failures.

Then I think, better for me to fail to be an experienced person; than not to fail at all and be a successful person.
