Thanks. 🙂 They are not from my garden but a resort that I had visited once. But yes, when I had first seen them it reminded me of my home garden that my mom used to attend to. She really loved roses and our roses grew big like this one. Now she doesn’t plant roses any more but other plants that need less care.
So many people have a relly soft spot for roses. With me it’s the combination of the gloroius colours the wonderful shape and, of course, the scent. The ones you mother grew sound lovely.
They were really lovely, Millie. For me it’s not only the scent and velvety touch but life’s lesson in it. I admire roses for that but I always love daisy and sunflower. Which is your favourite flower other than rose?
Can you believe it I had aimed for that beam. My husband feared that it might spoil the photo or its beauty but I wanted it so I clicked two – one with the beam and one without it. With a little bit of editing this is what I got, and I was happy with it.
Glorious flowers! Are they in your garden? Wherever they are, the photos are wonderful.
